Why it’s important to have a Wedding Day Timeline

  1. You’re organized

It’s no secret that being organized is going to give you a less stress. For me personally I need some sort of list or notes to stay organized. Having a timeline for the day makes sure that nothing is missed and everyone is in the know of what is going on at all times. Everyone in the wedding party (Especially maid of honour) should be sent your wedding day timeline to ensure things are running on time.

  2. More video & photo time

Who doesn’t like more photos and video? Thats why you hired a professional right? Imagine if you didn’t have a timeline for the day and it’s around 7:00 pm, the sun is setting, its the PERFECT time for photos but then you look up and you see that your maid of honour is about to give her speech. That’s a tough choice. Are you going to skip out on sunset portraits, the best time of the day for photos, or are you going to tell your maid of honour who is already tearing up for her speech to wait 30 minutes while we go take photos? The timeline prevents things like this from happening. And believe me, I’ve seen it happen and it’s stress that you shouldn’t have.

  3. No stress

Speaking of stress that brings me to my last point. Last thing you want is to be stressed on your wedding day. As if the planning wasn’t already a lot of work! Like I said before, you don’t want to be standing there deciding what you want to do last minute, looking around for opinions of what you should do. Something that I do is set my wedding day timeline as my background on my phone so I can quickly refer back to it if needed.
